Cycling to get off work may seem daunting, but we guarantee it is actually easier than you think! In fact, using the right equipment and preparation to commute to get off work by bike is a blast. This is a great way to enjoy outdoor activities, exercise, and is more fun than sitting in a traffic jam.

1-Pack and pack in.
Choose your comfortable backpack, install shelves and pants, or use it at the same time as you need to carry. Plan to pack any work you need plus an extra set of clothes to protect against sweat or bad weather.

2-Prepare your bike for the weather.
Consider investing in mudguards and wider tires. Mudguards reduce your chances of being soaked by rain or snow flying off the tires, while wider tires increase traction and stability. If you want to ride all winter, the extra grip is especially good.

3-Bring a jacket just in case.
Always pack a raincoat, even if you think you don’t need it. You never know when there will be a downpour or drizzle of hooligans! In addition, it is always good to have a windshield on hand to protect it from the elements.

4. Don’t forget your lock.
If you cannot bring your bicycle to your desk, please make sure you have a high-quality lock to ensure that your bicycle is outside or in its parking area in the office building’s bicycle parking lot. We recommend using u lock.

5- Take your route in advance.
If you are nervous about going to work on time, the pre-cycling route is a good way to know how long it will actually take you to get there. Remember, the route you drive is not always the safest route for biking. Google Maps and other applications can help you find an alternative route and a more enjoyable bike rider.

6-Make sure that time is on your side.
Give yourself a little more time than you need so that you don’t have to stress or rush in any unforeseen circumstances, such as a flat tire, terrible weather, etc.

7: There is a backup plan.
Whether it’s taking a bus, carpooling with friends and colleagues, or taking your own vehicle, it’s always good to have a plan B in the event of mechanical problems or weather conditions.

8-Ride a bike with friends.
Like most things in life, commuting with friends is more fun! Next time you drive to work, ask some of your colleagues to join you.
